lava lamp top Lava lamp wax is sideways and half-floating?
I got a lava lamp and turned it on. It had been like 20 minutes and the wax was solid and the lamp wasn't doing anything. So I twisted the glass piece in the silver base a tiny bit- I didnt shake it or anything. Then the solid wax piece started to tilt upwards and now it's kind of sideways and looks like it will float up to the top. I turned the lamp off, but what should I do to fix it? Thank you!!!
It actually takes more than 20 minutes for the little light bulb to heat the wax up enough for it to bubble. Leave it turned on, but never unattended. It's fine...just not hot enough.
