Lamp Clear I got a Lamp Berger for Christmas and was wondering about the wick and a new fragrance.?
When you try a new fragrance, do you have to wash the wick the clear out the old or what?
I have had no luck cleaning the wicks. So, I change them out with each new fragrance. Some have fallen apart and most of the time the last fragrance doesn't completely wash out anyways.
What can I use to keep brass from oxidizing. Something safe that I may wipe on after cleaning the brass. I do not want to use polyurethane or clear lacquer. Someone suggested applying a coat of good bee's wax ! Any other suggestions? Thank you!
Lamp Clear After I rewire a lamp, will I know right away if I did it right? Or do I have to keep an eye on it?
I'm pretty sure my wiring is good, and there wasn't a pop after I put everything back together and plugged it in. When I pushed the switch the lamp lit right up. What I'm wondering-since this is the first time I've done this-is if it could start smoking and catch fire from a bad connection? Or, if everything looked good as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on does that mean I'm in the clear?
You knew if there was a loose connection before you plugged it in. 99.9% of everything that could be wrong would have been a problem as soon as you turned the lamp on.
